HMV Portable Gramophones
Model 99
1931 - 1933
This model was only available in Black, at £5 5 shillings (5 guineas) or in Red or Blue at £5 10 shillings.
It had the no.16 soundbnox, a basic auto brake (which worked well) and a straight tone arm. A record folder was included and these are often missing from the machines as they were removed during playing and not always reseated in the lid.
